A local designer highlight presented with Modern Appealing Clothing (MAC) during Meantime at the Institute of Contemporary Art San Francisco.
Custom garments by Lemon Twist, Benji Mu and Camelia Skikos were created in collaboration with Montefalcone, each piece hand-painted so that the painting and the pattern are made for one another.
The collaboration was accompanied by a limited-edition tote bag and a series of participatory workshops, including a Flora Dyeing Workshop led by Benji Mu and Montefalcone, in which visitors of all ages dyed their own fabric with flowers.
